Take a bus ride from Puerto Quetzal to Antigua, Guatemala

Tour guide Ratael Rauirez

Did you know that Guatemala means Green Place
in Mayan?

I love you, too, big bird.
This isn't just a big bird, the Quetzal is Guatemala's
National bird

This is an ordinary upper scale home along the roadside; further out into the country Mayans sleep on the dirt floor. Our tour guide says it is their custom... to be near Mother Earth. OK.

One of 333 volcanoes

Manicured farm land
Natives carry their goods on their heads
Farm land just outside Antigua

Various flowers and orchid trees grow alongside the roadway.
See ya back in Antigua, Guatemala
then back to the U.S.A.
