St. Thomas, U.S.V.I. "Bus Ride"

Don't expect a long limousine when you go shopping or sight-seeing, but do hop on an old probably "antique" bus and ride across town for a buck per person. You get where you want to go, however, the ride can be a bit bumpy so hang on with hands and feet. Sit back and enjoy the ride. The Safari, of which there are many, that the locals ride, is better. One comes by and stops at clearly marked "bus stops" about about every five or so minutes and you can ride it cross the entire Island for $2.
Sit back and enjoy your bumpy ride whether it is by "antique" bus or safari.
The bus we rode

Coconut tree growing in planter

So the bus is old. What you expect for a buck?

Just hold on
Feet as well as hands!

Flowering shrubs everywhere

Scenic parks
Check out all the streets
Beautiful yellow flower from the flowering tree

Catch the safari without any trouble and cross the Island for $2.

Don't worry. Just ride with the locals; talk, laugh, and certainly be happy.
