I went to school with Diane and her sister Yvonne. Such a waste. It's had to believe after 20 year they still have not found out who killed her.

I also went to school with Diane and Yvonne and I hung out with her after school and partied with her and her sister. We all know who had killed her. I was not with her that night, but I was told that it was "Gary" the guy with the DeLorean.
I also remember that we all (all of my friends and her friends from H. S.)went to her house after she had passed and we had a "Wake Party" and this "Gary Dude" was the subject of the conversation. Her brother's were older than us,I knew them, but I didn't hang out with them. I know that the Brothers were wanting to "kill" this "Gary Dude" as were we all. I don't know what the resolution of her case was and can't find any info on it. Someone let me know! My email is tricia16302@gmail.com. Thanks alot. This has been a bane for me my whole adult life. I know that it didn't go to court in 1900. I didn't know that it went to court Ya know ,life got in the way. I have never forgotten about Diane and remember following it for several years in the newspaper at Christmas/New Years. They would run an article on the unsolved murders in Hernando Co. And she was always featured. Then, one year, the article stopped running and I never knew what happened I was still under the impression that it was unsolved! Thank you again and someone let me know what happened. I just hope that the family has had "some peace" in this totally unnecessary crime. Tricia
P. S. I also did meet this "Gary Dude" once over my friends house. Yes, he was in the DeLorean. I remember being "unimpressed" by him and that he was from another State and had moved here.
Diane is my older sister and the man who was accused of her murder is Garry Bushell. He was acquitted of her murder for insufficient evidence but he is definitely the person who dumped her body. Her death has played our family for decades and especially now I have a daughter of my own who is now the same age my sister was at the time she was murdered. We know that there are people who know the truth about what happened that night but for whatever reason have refused to come forward. I can only hope and pray that they never have to go through what my family has been through. I do not feel my sister is resting in peace because the person who took her life is still out there probably has done it again.
I'm sorry that I don't remember you. I only knew Diane and Yvonne. I knew Diane from School .We were in Chorus together. I have told you earlier about what I remember but I remember a little bit more. The "Gary Dude" that I had met, the one time over my friends house, had the DeLorean. But he also had a white fire bird or Cameron. I don't remember when I found out that he had the white car, but I think it was that evening when I first met him. Because I remember thinking to myself that this"ugly P. O. S."Better be glad he has that car or those cars because that is the ONLY WAY he's going to get a G-friend! He was, "full of himself" and like I said I was "unimpressed" by him and thought he was a conceded ASSHOLE! When we were at her funeral, graveside,I remembered that "everyone" started freaking out because a white fire bird was driving very slowly around the Cemetery Anyone who was there will remember this. I hope that I am talking about the same Gary. My heart and soul goes out to your family .But also know that Diane saved the lives of many of her friends in this unfortunate way. We all became much more aware of our relationships and who we hung out with and partied with. Again my condolences Tricia Mullady Calhoun.
It was a white camero I cleaned it the day after. It had pieces of her necklas in the floor which part ended up in a lot next door from where gary lived the other was vacuumed up. His attorneys tryed to throw everything my way but I was in bed. Gary did it ik for sure but back then hernando co did not have anyone in the office. I also think he killed another.w i think 2.
