"Sundown"..... A book of poems...... Love from the Deep.......

Sundown
Love from the Deep

Sundown

At sundown, a shadow
of a dream rises
to caress the crust of my earth;
it is a shadow of you looking at me.

I reach through air to grasp a brief moment
of you, a moment
that turns on it axis, slides into me
the taste of your breath in my hair,
the hum of your lips on my breast,
poetry you whisper
on my face.

Slides all of you into a moment,
into a dream,
into a shadow
that does not vanish in the night.

Patricia Lieb's latest collection of sensual poems transcends time as they confront human passion and the unquenchable thirst of the heart. They speak to the shadows of love won and love lost, and the undying echoes between each line pulsate with embraces yet to come.- Carol Schott, author Schott at Sunrise

St. John U.S.V.I. February 2014

Get off the ferry from Red Hook, St. Thomas. U.S.V.I., onto the Island of St. John and experience a day of sight-seeing and pleasure. It is an awesome place to ride the bus (across the Island for !.00) and enjoy a walk through town and a eats.  The ferry service runs hourly from Red Hook, St. Thomas and costs $7.00)  First thing I saw when getting off the ferry was a booth with two women handing out rum samples. Needless to say, I took advantage of their kindness.
This bus really doesn't look like much! But what do we expect for one dollar U.S. money?
But it is a fun and great way to see the magnificent countryside. The beautiful mountain sides were such a pleasure. We rode across the Island to Salt Pond then paid another dollar and rode back again, after which we enjoyed the sights of Cruz Bay.
Some 60% of the Island is the protected Virgin Islands National Park.
The Island is not quite 20-square-miles and less than 5,000 population.
One paved road going across the mountains.
Where to now?
Love seeing the American Flag flying high over Cruz Bay.
